Micromax A116 Review

Micromax Canvas HD A116 is one of Micromax's best phone in market. It has a 5-inch screen with a quad core processor. The display as by the name support 1080p and is of the main feature of the phone. 1 GB RAM gets it a smooth gaming performance without a single lag. A 116 is a great competitor for Samsung Grand and is reviewed to be a lot better than Grand

Micromax A116

Price : 14000
Processor : 1.2 GHz quad core processor
RAM : 1 GB
Size : 5-inch
Camera : 8 MP rear with auto focus and 2 MP front.

The display is really great (but no as great as advertised). It support smooth 720p video playback and good 1080p playback. The screen quality is crystal clear with a pretty good viewing angle.
Out in the sun too the display is teated to be very readable. The Antutu benchmark score is near 12 K while grand has only 6K. The build quality is really good and it could get along the usual droppings :). And like all most Micromax phone its a dual sim phone (not dual sim standby), support 3G and
wifi.

The camera quality is really good. It support both 720p and 1080p full HD video capturing. (ya even the ad never told you about the 1080p capturing right!!! but its true :) ). The auto focus feature comes in handy. so do the duel Flash LEDs.

And for the cons the internal memory is a bit low. The ad says you can have 4 GB but its only 1.7GB and the rest is system reserved. the camera isnt much good if zoomed. The battery life is a bit low but we cant expect more life with all these great displays, i guess u could increase the life with lowering the brightness. And the usual problem with the micromax, the  audio quality. It still gives that low quality earphone with it and the loudspeaker isnt that clear. I suggest you get a new earphone from sony or philips.

And overall this phone is just so great. You could go for it. Its now one of the most popular and is on the top bought budget android phone in market. All its cons can just be solved or ignored because it really worth its price.
